Prawn and fish depend upon exogenous dietary source of Vitamin- C because Vitamin- C cannot be synthesized in the body of aquatic animals due to lack of enzyme L gulonolactone oxidase (response for in vivo synthesis Vitamin C) Envit- C contains L. ascorbyl -2 – polyphosphate form of Vitamin C enriched with digestive enzymes.
