Off-Grid Solar Water Pump Controllers (3 HP to 30 HP) are designed for a reliable water supply in remote and agricultural areas. These MPPT-based solar controllers ensure maximum efficiency, durability, and performance for submersible and surface pumps, reducing energy costs and enabling sustainable off-grid irrigation.
Smart solar-powered Irrigation pump controller ensures efficient water
management using clean solar energy. Designed with advanced MPPT technology, it optimises power usage, reduces electricity costs, and delivers reliable performance for farms,
borewells, and off-grid irrigation systems.
Gabrovic Nig Ltd solar submersible pumps convert sunlight into power
via a solar panel array, which drives a water-filled BLDC motor submerged in
a borehole or well. The motor powers an impeller or screw to push water upward, providing a clean and sustainable solution where
electricity is unreliable or unavailable
Each Gabrovic Nig Ltd pump is built to deliver high efficiency, reliable operation, and low maintenance requirements.
no dependency on the grid, for remote water flow.
scalable to small farms up to large irrigation systems.
maximum solar harvest & reliable pump performance.
once installed, harnesses free solar energy
For harsh environments, minimal maintenance
the greener solution for our future.
An external controller is a separate component housed in a control box located above ground, away from the submerged pump motor. It manages the pump’s operations and electrical functions from a safe, dry location.
External controllers are typically used with 3-wire submersible pumps, which do not have a built-in starting capacitor. The control box contains the starting and running capacitors, relays, and other protective components necessary to start the motor.
Since the controller is located on the surface, troubleshooting and repairs are much simpler and cheaper. A technician can test or replace components in the control box without needing to pull the entire pump from the well.
The control box protects sensitive electronics from the harsh down-well environment. However, the initial cost is typically higher than a pump with an internal controller.
External controllers often include thermal overload protection, which automatically shuts off the pump if it overheats. They can also protect the pump from overcurrent and low-water conditions (dry-running).
External controllers are often easier to upgrade or replace if you want to add new features or advanced controls, such as a variable speed drive (VSD) to enhance efficiency and maintain constant water pressure.
Install anywhere — even off-grid. No wiring, transformers, or grid dependency.
Powered entirely by solar energy — zero fuel and near-zero maintenance.
Draws water from wells, ponds, lakes, or tanks. even at low depths (≥1 m).
Pairing with storage tanks ensures round-the-clock water availability.
Smart controller handles auto start/stop, speed regulation / protection.
Perfect for homes, villages, schools, and institutions that need a consistent and clean water source.
Ideal for drip, sprinkler, or flood irrigation systems. Maintain crop health while cutting fuel costs.
Reliable source for cattle, poultry, and dairy farms — even in remote grazing areas.
Used by NGOs, governments, and private enterprises to power rural water access programs.
